Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance announced today that its statewide network of agents and team members raised $19,000 for The Idaho Foodbank during a September 30 fundraising event in Boise.
Since The Foodbank can provide food for up to four meals for every $1 donation, this donation will help provide food for 76,000 meals to Idahoans living with food insecurity
“We are committed to helping strengthen the communities we live in and serve,” said Todd Argall, Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance’s Executive Vice President and CEO. “This is why we help organizations like the Idaho Foodbank who work tirelessly to support our neighbors and fight food insecurity.”
“We are grateful to have this support from the Farm Bureau Insurance Team,” said Karen Vauk, President and CEO of The Idaho Foodbank. “This kind of community engagement is a key part of our work to address food insecurity in communities across Idaho.”
