On January 15 the contest judges reviewed nearly two hundred outstanding photographic entries submitted as part of round 14 of the Reasons To Love Idaho Photo Contest. After careful consideration nine entries were chosen to move on to the finalist round. For the next two weeks people from all over Idaho logged on to the Reasons To Love Idaho website to vote for their favorite images.
On February 1st the votes were tabulated and the winners of round 14 announced.
Karen Matthews received the most votes for her scenic entry titled “Reflections” and was awarded a new Apple i-Pad.
Kimmel Dalley’s entry, titled “Coming home in style,” received the second highest number of votes and earned him 2nd Place and a $75 pre-paid Visa Card.
A photo titled “All His Glory” submitted by Lynne M. Murley received enough votes to secure the 3rd place title and a $50 prepaid Visa card.
Paul Joos submitted a photo titled “Sundog Paris” and received the “People’s Choice” award and prepaid Visa card for $50.
And finally, Brian Allison’s entry titled “Swan Valley In The Fall” was awarded the “Judges’ Choice” award and a prepaid Visa Card for $75.
Our congratulations go out to all of the winners of round 14. The quality of photos submitted was superb and all the images once again demonstrated just how magnificent our state really is.
